| Hi Peggy- We had the pleasure of having Stephen Pierre come and do a pre-concert visit at Erin Mills Middle School for The Carpet of Dreams. The students thoroughly enjoyed his presentation! He was engaging and really got our kids enthused about the upcoming show. Thanks to you and Stephen for providing this opportunity! Marilyn Mason
Hi Peggy You are awesome! Thank you so much for taking the time to visit Orangeville. The kids were thrilled to be part of your performance. You did such a great job of keeping their attention -even after an indoor recess! Truly, a seasoned professional. There was lots of excited chatter in my class about wanting to play the violin. Thank you for giving them the bug. We look forward to seeing you in 2 weeks.

| Last Year's "Toonie" Event |
REVIEWS --> The Little Mermaid" TALES AND TUNES FOR TOONIES 2010 "the production was valuable from an artistic point of view. The combination of oral storytelling, music, and visuals on the large screen was very effective. I liked the way the music was playing underneath the narrators’ voices the whole time and how the music matched the tone of their voices. When the story was happy the music was light. When there was danger the music became more suspenseful. I also liked the way the visuals enhanced the story without interfering with one’s imagination. Mostly the visuals were lights and colours that suggested an underwater world without being “photorealistic.” This allowed one to imagine that they were in the sea with the little mermaid, but also was a reminder that this was fantasy. From an educator’s point of view this was effective because it appealed to different learning styles (auditory and visual)."
Thank you for a wonderful performance! From Maria Nightingale (parent/teacher/pastor) | |
