| “Scientific studies have conclusively shown that this type of early exposure to the performing arts and the easy access to an experience of the arts has a positive, long-lasting impact on children's learning and self esteem. Currently many elementary schools (especially in the culturally under-serviced communities of Mississauga and the schools with predominately new Canadians) do not have strong arts programs and frequently teachers do not have the skills, confidence or resources to teach the curriculum expectations for the performing arts. And finally, schools do not have the funds to purchase these programs.” | |
| Concert Theatre for Kids provides outreach-educational, curriculum based, live performances for your school. Concert Theatre for Kids features performers who are professional musicians and actors. For most of the programs listed below, they will come directly to your school so that you save travel time and busing costs.
